We chose Brite Beginnings after visiting more than 5 pre-schools and we couldn’t have made a better choice for our daughter. Nala absolutely LOVES it there and even asks us to take her to school on weekends! She is so happy and is growing in leaps and bounds. The teachers give the children so much love and care for them like their own. Thank you Teacher Sherri and the Brite Beginnings family for giving our precious Nala a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow.

My son Luke has been going to Brite Beginnings (BB) since 2019. He has absolutely thrived since he has been there. He is a special needs child with cerebral palsy and hearing loss but we wanted him to be exposed to a mainstream school as much as possible. This is not something that many mainstream schools would accommodate but BB embraced the idea and him. Sherri and the teachers make sure that he can take part in all the school activities and that he gets the necessary stimulation and encouragement to grow and develop. Sherri goes the extra mile to check in with me to determine what Luke is doing in therapy and how she can best tie-in to ensure he achieves his goals. It is a smaller, intimate environment where Sherri and the teachers can really give individual attention to each child. The love and care that is shown to each child is just amazing. They are accommodating and passionate and really make you feel part of the BB family. I highly recommend this school for any child.

Words are often not enough to do things justice but let me try. Brite Beginnings is a home away from home, all thanks to their remarkably passionate team. My son was happy at BB from day one, and he was a child that we expected would struggle with severe separation anxiety. I can count on one hand the number of days that we had a tearful drop-off. Not only is the school incredibly nurturing but the level of stimulation and creativity is excellent. Every week parents are updated with what the kids did that week and what skills the activities developed. The art books that are sent home at the end of every term are an absolute delight to go through; especially seeing how proud my son was of his work. The creative ideas that they produce just get better and better, clearly a lot of time dedicated to Pinterest research! The end of year concerts were a wonder. How they got such young kids to happily cooperate and pull off such well-rehearsed and adorable shows was nothing short of child whisperer stuff. Sherri has a wealth of knowledge and has endless time to talk and offer advice, even when it’s about your child not enrolled at the school. It’s so clear that children and their healthy development is Sherri’s passion and I think that this is what makes BB such a special school. She brings likeminded people into the team and the energy is clearly contagious. Kids are allowed to be kids, learn through really fun play and gain the confidence to be themselves, however quirky that might be! The only thing I would change about the school is that it offered more grades, perhaps about 12 more 😊
There are things I wish I’d done differently as a parent but choosing Brite Beginnings was definitely one of the things I got right because of the foundation it’s given my son. – Jayne McKleijn

Choosing the first school for your child is always very daunting, we looked at a few options but Brite Beginnings (BB) came highly recommended and for good reason. We immediately got a good feeling, with such warm energetic staff and a great setup. Zoe was there for 3 years, she loved going to school, and grew so much with the love and care of BB. They were also so accommodating and welcoming of Luke, Zoe’s cousin with special needs and brought his carer into the family too. BB is a great start to a child’s education, with an environment that is intimate, fun and stimulating. – Martine Burgess
