Teacher Sherri
I am a qualified speech therapist and audiologist who has been working with children for over 25 years. I have a passion for helping struggling readers and kids with additional needs but for now am following my other passion…. preschool teaching. I have three children of my own and have run a play school in the past.
I love reading, baking and spending time with friends and my extremely large extended family.
Teacher Mpumi
I love to spend family time with my 3 children and husband. Raising 3 children has been one of my greatest achievements and that’s why I went into child care. With over 10 years of experience I have come to believe that there is great achievement in having a little part in raising some of the leaders of our future.
Through children I have also learned to take better care of my health through exercising, playing sports and most importantly finding a way to incorporate that into my classroom to learn and grow with the children. I hope I can keep adding onto my already large family with more students in years to come.
Teacher Donna
l am a very energetic and bubbly teacher. I have grown passionate about taking care of these little children with more than 12 years of experience in the industry I have become family with each individual at Brite Beginnings. Caring for these little boys and girls is not just a job to me but a lifestyle , the happy and joyful smiles that I have spread across these little faces will forever fill my heart.
I enjoy making jokes and love having a good laugh while making progress, understanding is the goal and I have my own creative skills to help our kids achieve it. I am always motivated and have a great sense of humor which I take with me everywhere to light up the classroom space in order to learn and grow together. On a personal note, I love time with my family and helping others.
Teacher Carmin
I am a very outgoing, caring and energetic person, who has a love and passion for children. I have au paired for many years and have a special connection with children, I have a passion for helping them whenever I can. I fell in love with teaching from a very young age. Teaching is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences. Being able to interact, laugh, and smile with children makes me extremely happy and grateful to be a teacher.
I am currently in my third year of studying Intermediate Phase teaching and aim to get my honours degree in teaching as well. I am excited to add value to the teaching world.
In my free time, I love being in nature by going on walks and hiking. I love doing arts and crafts, spending time with my family and friends, as well as my 2 dogs.
Teacher Shandre
I am a teacher by profession. I have been teaching for 14 years and have managed preschools in the past, I have also worked at an ASD institution. The most exciting time in my career was being the English curriculum coordinator for the French schools in Senegal, West Africa.
I am a mommy to a little girl, she will always be my greatest achievement in life. I have always loved being surrounded by children. I love music, painting, nature and spending time with my loved ones. Teaching is not only my passion, I believe this is my purpose. I am very excited to be a part of the Brite Beginnings team. I am looking forward to guiding the little ones and helping each one of them reach their full potential.
